Hair Must Haves!

On my natural hair journey my product closet has changed. There are a few must haves that I need to aid in heathly natural hair growth. Every kinky curly girl should have:

• Extra Vrigin Olive Oil
• This oil is considered an essential oil and can act as a conditioner, and hot oil treatment. The great thing about evoo is it actually penetrates the hair shaft moisterizing beyond the outer layer of your hair producing healthier shiney looking hair. Another good thing is you can find evoo at any store.
• A wide tooth comb
• This can help you retain length by not yanking out every knot and nap in your hair. Using a wide tooth comb will make the detanling process easier and leave you losing way less hair.
• Silcone Free Conditioner
• There are so many conditioners on the market but us curly girls need conditioner that will do just that "conditon" our hair. Therefore using a silicone free conditioner will penetrate the hair shaft and condition from the inside out. Where can you find a cone free conditioner? Anywhere! • A plastic cap
• Plastic caps are always a must. They protect your hair from gettting wet in the shower when you want your locks to stay dry. Plastic caps lock in heat while deep conditioning and are used for most overnight methods like the baggy method, greenhouse method, etc...
• Satin cap
• Use your satin cap EVERY NIGHT!!  You should be wrapping and protecting your hair every night with your satin cap or satin bonnet. Not only does pillow friction dry your hair out but it also can cause breakage. Treat your locks to a soft night's sleep.
• Lastly, are Hair accessories
• A natural girl's best friend. Hair accessories are anything from ponytail holders (not rubber bands-big no, no) head bands, hair clips, flowers, fancy scarves and more. Dress your kinks up with colors accessories to help get you through your hairs toughest and even prettiest days.
